Ingredients
- 1 bag of frozen tater tots
- 1 family size can of mushroom soup (you can substitute for cream of chicken)
- 1 lb. of ground beef (or substitute for ground turkey), season to taste
- 1 c. of real bacon bits (I use Hormel® or Costco®)
- 1 c. chopped onions and bell peppers (I use green, red, yellow, and orange) (you can also add chopped mushrooms)
- 2 c. grated cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Cook the ground meat
- Mix the soup per the directions on the can.
- Chop up onions and peppers
- Take a baking dish and spray with a nonstick spray
- Add the tater tots, spread the meat, bacon bits, onions, and pepper on the top of the tater tots
- Pour the soup mix over the top of tater tots, mean, veggies
- Spread grated cheese over the top
- Cover with tinfoil
- Bake in oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour (until tater tots are cooked and cheese is bubbling).
